31 Days of Makeup: Day 14- 3 lip looks is to 1 Eye look + Beginner’s Guide

Okay, so now we are going to nail two posts in one. This is a 31 days of makeup post as well as a beginner’s guide post. You can expect this to be a little longer than my other 31 Days of makeup posts since it is a beginner’s guide. And since I’ll also be posting this on my personal facebook account (since a beginner’s eye and lip coordination post was requested by a friend) I’ll try to refrain from saying/typing any profanity in this post… Yes ladies and gentlemen this is the first general audiences friendly post in this blog.

So, like what I said in this “post” (which you should probably look at first) where I discussed the do’s and dont’s when you are still starting with makeup, I said that you should stick to neutrals at first. Why use neutrals and not those blue, pink, and pastel shades that are being sold at teens section of makeup stores? Because neutrals are the most newbie friendly eyeshadow shades that there is. For one, you can still get away without blending these neutral eyeshadows. If you are still new and you can’t blend to save your life, yet; these shadows are more forgiving, compared to purple that can look harsh if you don’t blend it properly.

Also, I recommend matte shades to start with, why mattes? Because mattes, specially lighter colored ones can work as a single shadow eye look. Single shadow eyelook means that you’ll only use a single eyeshadow from lid up to the crease, then you’ll put on your mascara and eyeliner then call it a day.

Not to mention that you can do a lot of looks with just a small all matte palette like these two:

These two matte palettes are also the palettes I used on the first two photos in this post as well as the photos below. I used a mixture of some of the shades. And with only that one neutral eye look I managed to coordinate three lip looks.

As you can see here a neutral eye can work on nude lips or bold lips. it can also work on matte lips and glossy lips, these eye looks will definitely look good with some metallic lipsticks as well.

A neutral eye is the safest choice there is; since it can work with almost any lip color there is. And not to mention that it will look good with any eyeliner shape, eye shape and eye color.

So I hope this post helped you in any way, shape or form.

That’s all for now folks and see you all later! 😀

31 Days of Makeup: Day 7- Warm Toned Halo

So, I saw a lot of stuff on YouTube about halo eyeshadow and I said to myself… it’s been a long while since I tried doing that so I did one now. I paired it with a bold lip just for kicks. Unlike my other looks I didn’t use a foundation for this one since I’m too lazy today to do so, and I do not want to scrub my face hard tonight.

So what do you guys think? Good or Not good?

That’s all for now folks and see you all later! 😀

Fake Kat Von D Makeup

Months ago, I bought these fake Kat Von D stuff together with the Fake ABH highlighter that I reviewed “here”. Later today or tomorrow, I will post a review about each of these products, I would just like for you to see these stuff for yourself.

That’s all for now folks and see you all later! 😉

These Liquid Lipsticks Are Good, and Cheap, and THEY ARE NOT FAKE!!!

Okay, guys I’ve been loving these liquid lipsticks for a while now and, I am going to do a separate post for each of these. These are cheap one is regularly Php180.00, the other is regularly Php225.00, why is “regularly” in front of the prices, because you can get them for much cheaper.

I am talking about these liquid lipsticks:

The one on the left is Detail Makeover’s Matte in Detail liquid lipstick, it costs Php225.00, but I got the nude one which is called Joyce, on sale for Php180.00, I got the deep maroon one which is Alexandra for Php225.00. The one on the right are Ever Bilena advance Liquid Lipsticks, they retail for Php180.00 each, but can go on sale depending on the store you wanna buy them from; these are not matte lipsticks, but more like liquified lipsticks, they are quite long wearing, and they leave a stain on your lips.

Again I will make a review for each product soon. But I gotta tell you these motherfuckers are really good for their price.

So that’s all for now folks and see you all later! 😉

Warm Toned Eyeshadows

I know that I already told you that I love cool toned eyeshadows; which is very far from what is on trend nowadays, but… yep I tried doing a look with warm eyeshadows today. It is not the norm for me so excuse me if I didn’t go all the way warm, but hey! I think this shit is still pretty good! 😀

I actually liked how this turned out. The products used on the eyes are all pretty damn inexpensive too. 😉 And I also did a something like a cross between instagram brows and editorial brows here… not too bad eh?

And here I basically did the same shit with the brows… but the face received a different treatment. My face is basically more beat in here than the first one… 😀

And now that I think about it these eye looks are very good for the rainy season which is the current season in my country! Not that I like it though, I don’t like cold weather.

So yeah, I just wanna share this to you people!

That’s all for now folks and see you all later! 😀

My Makeup Collection (Part 1)

Okay, so last Friday I asked you guys if you wanted to see a “Makeup Collection” and freelance makeup kit blog entry; and some of you guys liked that post. So now I’m doing it! Okay, so I also recently did a decluttering post I called the “Makeup Purge“there are a lot of makeup that I managed to get rid of in that post; which directly affected the amount of makeup that I’ll be showing you here. Also there is no way in fucking hell that I am bragging about the shit I’m going to show you, because again these products are very cheap and my collection is very small compared to other bloggers out there.

So without further bullshit here they are!

Like what I said… Not that impressive. My storage is actually pretty damn simple, bordering mediocre in some way; I have a big tupperware where I store my palettes, highlighters, blushes and loose eyeshadows; and I also have three smaller ones, one for my smaller eyeshadow palettes duos and singles, one for my face powders and powder foundations, and one for my eye products that isn’t eyeshadow. I also have two bags, one is for my lip products and the other is for cream products.

(Please click the pictures to know what’s in there)

Now let’s go to the products; let’s start with the lips. 😀

So far these are all the lip products I own, and they all fit nicely inside this clear bag. The photo on the top right are the products I own that are either fake/replica or old but has a sentimental value, the one on the bottom are genuine products that I could use, on clients. Also, I really don’t know why, but I forgot to take out the fake mac lipstick on the bottom right part, but it shouldn’t have been there it should be together with the other replicas on the top right side.

Here are all of my face powders and powder foundations. None of them are replicas, but a lot of them has to be replaced soon. I do use all of them, some on myself and some on clients so I’ll be more surprised if they are in pristine condition.

These are all of my smaller palettes, singles and duos, again none of them are replicas, but the three six pans on the photo on the right are very cheap. My Max Factor duo and my Mac shadows are here as well.

Here are all of my eye and brow liners, brow powders, cream liners, mascaras, brow gel/mascaras and my lash glue. The picture on the upper left are the products that I could use on my clients and the bottom right are either old with a sentimental value or a replica(I only own one replica eyeliner though…). I also own some eyeshadow pencils that I use as eye bases. And just so you know, I do not own any fake/replica mascara; since that type of product is too damn close to my eyes.

Eyebrow powders from Ashley Shine and Avon, Annabelle eyeliner in Metal Daze, 2 Allue eyeliners, 2 ADS Cream Eyeliner, 2 Avon Mascaras, 3 Ashley Shine brow gels/mascaras, A & W Clear Mascara/Brow Gel, My Eyelash glue, San san eyeliner pen, Ashley Shine liquid eyeliner, 4 Baolishi Eyeliner duos that I use as bases over my eye primer, MeNow Green eyeshadow pencil, 2 San san Kohl liners, Avon Glimmerstick eyeliner in Lime Sensation,a Fake Mac liner in Sky Blue, a cheap Qiaoer eyeliner in dark green.

(all of the eye products; properly arranged)

Here are all of cream products, from eye bases to bb creams to concealers to primers… they are here. From that cheap concealer palette to my concealer wheel. to my foundations, they are all here, I also do not own any fake/replica foundation and I do not plan on trying one ever. I have foundations for every skintone I see here in the Philippines. However I do not use that blue concealer quad from Cadette, because that thing is old as fuck and I only keep it because it’s from my grandma.

Now for the fun part; the big box. This box contains my bigger palettes as well as my colored face products like blush.

2 Ashley Shine highlight 3d palettes, Kiss Beauty PRO Shimmer palette, a Clinique duo eyeshadow, a MonaLiza Collection Blush, a San san champagne collection blush mosaic, a San san Rosanne Collection blush, a CCV cosmetics blusher, ABH Illuminator replica, an Allue Pretty Cheeks Blush duo.

Here are my highlighters, blushes, and face palettes. The only replica here is the Anastasia Illuminator that I reviewed a week ago.

LOL eyeshadow palette in Neon Lights, 3 Avon True Color Quads, a NYC Individualeyes palette, Ever Bilena 12 pan palette, an Allue eyeshadow trio, Avon 8 pan palette in “the Greens”, Qianyu Eyeshadow Palette.

Here are my medium sized eye palettes, I do not use the ones with broken packaging like the 12pan one and that trio; those two are my very first palettes, my mom bought that trio for me in 2009 or 2010, and I bought the 12 pan one on the new year’s day of 2012. I keep both for sentimental reasons only.

JeColor Eye and cheek palette, Avon Over Nature Palette.

Now here are my makeup palettes; or my palettes that has something else other than eyeshadow. I used to have a lot of these types; but I gave them away, I gave three away on my decluttering back in 2015 and I gave one away in my makeup purge.

Allue roll-on shimmer eyeshadow, Aily roll-on eyeshadow, 2 Aily loose eyeshadows.

Now, here are all of my loose eyeshadows; two in roll-on form, two in pots. I have a pale blue one, a metallic blue, a gold and a silver one.

Kat Von D Shade + Light eye palette replica, The Balm Nude Dude Replica, e.l.f Little Black Beauty Book Day Edition, L.A. Girl Beauty Brick Eyeshadow Collection in Nudes.

And here are my bigger palettes, the two on top are replicas, the one on the bottom left is a real, genuine as fuck e.l.f. palette that I got from SM, the one on the bottom right is a bit questionable though since I got it from the same place I got the fake Anastasia liquid lipstick, it’s an L.A. Girl Beauty Brick Palette in Nudes… but that place has real Jordana lipsticks though and they did not advertise this palette as SG authentic, which they always do with their other replica palettes. This palette also smells the same as my NYC palette which my grandma sent me from the U.S.A, but I’m still a bit unsure so I’m going to swatch  the tester I saw at SM and I’m going to compare. I’ll give you an update on this one.

Also as you can see; all of my bigger palettes are nudes; but the rest that I own are all very fun and colorful. I don’t really know how to explain that as well, it just happened.

Now let’s move to brushes;most of the brushes I own came in sets of 5 or more. I only have a few singles.

Here are my brushes, the ones that I already used are gathered in a fox candy tin can that I recycled, because why the fuck not? The rest are either in a brush roll or an organizer bag.  As you can see my lash curler and my hair cutting scissors are in the tin can too, just so I can find them easily.

I also put other tools in bags, I have my powder puffs and blending sponges in a double sided bag, the other side holds my puffs and my disposable sponges, and the other side holds my blending sponges. And as you can see my blending sponges are quite dirty because I used them on clients the other day and they need to be washed.

So just to make this post shorter, I’ll cut it here, this will be just my “makeup collection post” my kit preparation and freelance details will be on another post, which will serve as a part 2.

Also if you have any questions, you can comment down below or message me on my facebook page that you can visit by clicking “here“.

So that’s all for now folks and see you all later! 😀

2016 Makeup Purge

I already announced last night on my facebook page that I will do a makeup collection post. 4 or 5 people liked the post so I think that it is safe to assume that at least that much people will read it. But before that I will make a post first about the things that you won’t see in that makeup collection post.

Last year I made a “post” about the things I already gotten rid of. I’m in the process of making one right now, here things that I gave away or downright trashed… I’ll also say why I have to let each item go. This is actually something every makeup lover and enthusiast should do all the time, because let’s face it when you have a lot of stuff already you’ll forget to use your older stash.

(Since there are some replicas in this post I’ll add this…

Disclaimer: I do not recommend the replica/s I showcase in this post; we do not really know the ingredients used in these products and we do not have any concrete information regarding the way these products were packaged, I review/bought them for educational purposes. If you really want to try them, then do so at your own risk.)

These are almost all the things that I needed to let go of… I sanitized the things I gave away though, just so you know.

First of let’s start with the bigger things, I know you are seeing that huge gray palette that has Naked Written on it. Yes, that is the fake Urban Decay Naked 2 that I reviewed in a past “post“. Yep I needed to let it go.

Now, why did I have to let it go, it’s actually quite easy… because I rarely use it. This palette lacks a lot of things it lacks mattes, it lacks a nice mid-tone brown to use on my crease, also this is very warm. It’s been months since I last touch it, and to me that is a clear sign that I needed to let this go. My mom actually asked to have it, so I gave it to her. I warned her though about the probable risk, but she still took it.

Next is the Avon Fold-up palette that I bought on December 2013… I really loved this palette, I treated it like a baby. The blushes are great, but the shadows and glosses are all hit and miss.

I really wanted to keep it, I really do. Since we have been through a lot of shit together, to the point that some of the hinges broke(sadly they broke on their own; I have never dropped it even once, the packaging is just not good quality…). And this is my first big palette too, but the last time I used it was December 2015… I need to let it the fuck go, and give it to someone who can still use the most out of it. So I gave it to my best friend, and those blushes looked great on her.

Now this is another palette I really loved, it is from the brand Qianyu; I bought it last February 2014, it has two of the qualities I like in eyeshadows; 1) it’s cheap as fuck, 2) It is pigmented as fuck! That black is fucking ridiculous! But it is the same case with the other two palettes… I rarely use it, but I love the texture and the pigmentation of it, it feels expensive. So, I gave it away to a friend of mine who loves colors like these.

Another thing that I haven’t used in a while. This is a L.A. Colors lip palette in Angel’s Kiss. I gave this away, I sanitized it first and wiped that brush clean.

This is one of my favorite lip glos-I mean “Lipglass”, This is my San san Champagne collection Lipglass in 01 Goldmine, this was a part of San san’s Holiday collection I bought multiple of these when it went on sale, but then I realized that two of these is too excessive even for me; so I gave this to my mom.

(as you can see, this photo was taken in May 2015, back when we were still living in our old apartment building)

This is Sophie Paris Lip gloss in Suede Copper that I bought last year, I really like this gloss, it is very pigmented, lightweight and non-sticky. It expired last July 12, so I trashed it, even though it still have 1/6 of the product left in it.

This is one of my most used gloss ever, it is my Careline lipgloss in 01… it is cheap and it smells like fake watermelons but it is pigmented and I liked it. It expired too, but not before I used it all up.

This is my San san lipgloss duo in Really Red, one side is clear one side is red. I already used up the clear side… the red I barely touched. My friend asked to have it so I gave it to her…

Okay, you guys all know that the review I made with this fake Lime Crime Velvetines is my most viewed post. I made that back in January, so, it hasn’t been a year since I bought it, I did not even use both of the shades that much but they already dried up. That is very annoying, I’ll update that post I made on these and change the rating from a 7.6 to a 6.0 or lower because now that I’ve tried other liquid lipsticks, I realized that these things are not good, even for a replica. Basically, I got rid of them.

My mom wants the Nyx one though so she took it, it was actually pretty good but I can’t recommend it to you because it is also a replica.

A lot of eyeliners and brow liners that I threw away, these all sucks, except for the Ever Bilena black liner (The second one from the top) that was actually good so I gave that away, but the rest, I just trashed. I tried my very best to make them work but they just won’t.

These are my two San san concealers that I got some time ago, about a year or so. I rarely touched them nowadays and I just have to give them away to someone who can give them more love. I sealed them too. One is in beige and the other one is olive, the beige one went to a friend while the Olive one went to my grandma.

I also gave away these two lipsticks, one is a Purple fake Mac lipstick that I got last December, I rarely use it and my friend wanted it, I warned her too,but she just told me that all of us will die one day so she’ll take her chances… well she has been using a lot of fake products since we were both in our mid-teens so I think she already has her mind set. The nude one is from San san it is a part of their HD collection, I used it quite a lot, but I haven’t used it for 2-3 months so  I have to let it go, my grandma loves that lipstick so I gave it to her.

This is my Careline BB cream in Fresh, I almost never used it. I got it for over a year now, but it stayed untouched, it was way too light for me; there were no testers in the store I bought it from and returning makeup is not allowed here in the Philippines. I wanted to use it for mixing, but  even with that I rarely used it. So I just gave it to my friend who asked to have it.

As you can see there are quite a lot of items included here, and I encourage you to do the same thing. I encourage you to look at your collection and examine it carefully. Look at things that you haven’t used for a while and give them away. Why should you give them away? Because if you haven’t touched those products for months you might not be able to touch them again even if you tried; why? Because you there is a reason why you haven’t touched them, it could be that you have a much recent purchase that does the same thing but better, it could be that the products differs from your current style now or maybe you have just forgotten about their existence already.

So please stop making yourself believe that if you just pull it out you’ll use it again, because there is a much bigger chance that you won’t. So why don’t you just give it away to someone who could make more use out of it and give it more love, rather than just let it rot at the bottom of your drawer.

So, I hope this post helped you in some way, and I hope you’ll also read the Makeup Collection post that will come later today.

That’s all for now folks and see you all later! 😀
